NSS is run by Vidyabharati, AP, which is affiliated to Vidyabharati Akhila Bharatiya Siksha Sanstan, New Delhi, the biggest NGO in the filed of education, with over five decades of experience providing value based, scientific, culturally rich education all over India.

Brief on Sainik Schools
Sainik schools conceived in 1961 by V.K. Menon, the then Defence Minister of India, and are established and maintained by The Sainik School Society under Ministry of Defence.
The Primary objective of Sainik school is to prepare the students to join National Defence Academy and Indian Naval Academy. lead as officers in the Defence services of the country. The schools select bright and promising students through an All India Sainik School Entrance Examination and focuses on moulding their overall personality with an emphasis on extracurricular activities.
There are 41 Sainik Schools in India that are under the Sainik Schools Society, Ministry of Defence (MOD). Considering our population, maintaining appropriate officers strength is a strategic requirement for the nation. Government Of India has recognized such need and came out with a policy to start Sainik Schools in Private sector with suitable regulations.
Overview
Vidyabharati is planning to establish Netaji Sainik School (NSS) in Kethanakonda village located in Ibrahimpatnam Mandal of NTR District, Andhra Pradesh.
NSS is approx 20 Km away from Vijayawada and 1.5 km from Hyderabad-Vijayawada Highway (NH 65).
NSS is planned in 8 acres of land with 72,000 SFT building, donated by Sri CBR Prasad.
Demarcated sufficient number of Classrooms, Science Labs, Maths Lab, Language Labs and Library.
Planned to have various sports facilities and outdoor & indoor shooting range as required.
