Donor of School Building and Campus
Sri. CBR Prasad

Sri CBR Prasad, popularly known as CBR, was born on 10th May 1946 in Bhatlapenumarru village, Movva Mandal, NTR District, Andhra Pradesh.
A native of the same village, the renowned Olympic weightlifter Sri Kamineni Eshwar Rao served as a significant inspiration for young CBR. Deeply influenced by him, CBR developed a strong passion for sports early in life. While he excelled in athletics during his school years, earning several medals, he remained equally committed to his academics. His ambition was to represent India in the Olympics, and he believed that joining the Indian Air Force would be a practical route to realize that dream.
Driven by this aspiration, he joined the Air Force, serving the nation with dedication for nine years. Later, when an opportunity arose to pursue his Olympic dream through the Indian Railways, he resigned from the Air Force. Unfortunately, despite his efforts, the dream could not be fulfilled due to unforeseen challenges. Accepting the circumstances gracefully, he pivoted his focus toward building a livelihood and started a small poultry business. Through hard work and determination, his venture grew remarkably, and at its peak, it was regarded as one of the largest poultry farms in India.
With his entrepreneurial success came a growing desire to give back to society. Deeply influenced by the ethos of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), he gradually withdrew from business activities to dedicate himself to social service. After setting aside sufficient resources for his family’s future, CBR began contributing generously to numerous causes and organizations across both Telugu-speaking states.
His contributions are both notable and inspiring:
- He donated ₹1.08 lakhs and 3 acres of land in Shamshabad, Hyderabad to the Indian Air Force, recognizing the institution that helped shape his early career.
- He remained connected to his roots, funding the construction of a new building at the government high school in his native village, encouraging others to invest in their hometowns.
- His generosity was instrumental in the establishment of Sri Vidyaranya International School at Bandlaguda Jagir, Hyderabad, thanks to his and other philanthropists’ support.
- He further donated 8 acres of land and a 72,000 sq. ft. building to Vidyabharati, Andhra Pradesh, facilitating the creation of Netaji Sainik School at Ketanakonda, near Vijayawada.
Beyond these major initiatives, CBR Prasad has extended support to several other organizations, including Sevabharati, Vanavasi Kalyan Parishad, Dharma Rakshana Samithi, and the Shiva Shakti Foundation.
Despite his achievements and immense contributions, Sri CBR Prasad remains a humble and unassuming figure, inspiring countless others to embrace philanthropy and selfless service.
